Homework.

Doesn't it seem like there should be a better way? According to a 2001 study, the average time spent on homework is 2.1 hours. For many households, this time can be stressful for both children and parents - partly because of the sheer volume of work and partly because there is no way for children to easily obtain guidance and assistance when they have questions or run into problems.

Enter the Homework Café®.

Taking the "home" out of homework and putting it back in school where it belongs.

The Homework Café® is a relaxed, fully staffed learning environment where children can come for guidance, supervision, and help with their homework. It is open to any child attending a Fusion program:

Fusion Academy students:

Using the Homework Café®, students complete all of their homework for the day. Questions are answered on the spot and there is no need to bring anything home. Students must sign out with each of their instructors prior to leaving the Café, giving the teachers a chance to verify completion and compliment the student on a job well done.

Fusion Classes for Credit and Fusion Learning Center students:

The Homework Café® is available on a drop-in basis, so students can use this resource for one hour, two hours - as long as is needed. Café hours are billed at $15 per hour and payment is required on a monthly basis.

The Homework Café® is open from 8am – 8pm, Monday through Thursday.
