Student Support

Fusion Academy offers support to students in many ways.

Lead Teacher – Each student has a Lead Teacher who acts as a confidante, guide, and mentor while at Fusion. The Lead Teacher provides a constant support both academically and emotionally, while helping your child navigate through the school experience. Students meet with their Lead Teacher at the conclusion of each school day to be signed out before leaving campus and to address any questions or concerns. The Lead Teacher will also serve as your “portal” to your child’s life at Fusion, providing phone , email, and written communication to you regarding your child’s progress.

Homework Café® – Here at Fusion, students complete their "home" work at school each day under faculty supervision. This allows students' questions to be addressed when they arise and gives teachers the opportunity to check for comprehension of the material.

Therapeutic – Fusion’s team of family therapists provides counseling to those students who require additional support, helping to keep them focused on achieving personal and academic success. We also provide the opportunity to integrate outside theraputic professionals into the course of the school day through convenient scheduling and transportation options.

Community Meetings
– These weekly school-wide meetings are a forum for students to receive peer support and obtain advice and guidance from other students.

College Preparatory Planning – We recognize that the college search can be intimidating. That's why we encourage our high school students and their parents to utilize our college counseling services. From when to take the SATs and ACTs to finding the University that’s the best fit for your child, our services help make this process easier for the entire family.

Special Education Consultation – Our dedicated Special Education Coordinator provides consultation and assistance to students (and their parents) with learning disabilities, emotional struggles, and attention issues. This includes step-by-step help in navigating the special education system, answering questions about psycho-educational testing, formulating a Formal Education Plan (FEP), and much more.

Because One-to-One Works.
